I noticed that a lot of bloggers nowadays feels hopeless with their blogs. They think that the topic they are talking about are nonsense and things that doesn't matter at all. Aside from that, learning SEO is not that fast and easy that's why they just give-up on it. So to be more encouraging, I will list here my top 5 reasons why you should continue blogging.
1. Continue Blogging and Learn New Things
Blogging is a research-based job for me. Before I post something here on my blog, I usually do a research about the topic I'm planning to create. Reading on other blog post will help you gain more ideas and topics to discuss on your own. Using those ideas, continue updating your blog with quality posts and don't forget to promote them.
Reminder: Use other ideas but don't copy-paste their original articles.
2. Continue Sharing What's On Your Mind
Sharing what is on your mind can help other people in many ways. (Most) Our society nowadays are relying on the Internet as their source of information. We, as bloggers are consider as "information providers" because blogs are very easy to update and maintain. So why stop blogging? What you must do today is to continue it, share what's on your mind and help.
3. Let The World Know Your Experiences
Experiences teaches us all. We can learn from our mistakes and even from their mistakes. What is the catch? In blogging, honesty is one of the most important attitude you should have. Be honest and your readers will trust you more. Share your experience and let them learn from it.
4. You Can Earn Money From Blogs(Optional)
All bloggers has an opportunity to generate income from their blogs. You can try different monetizing methods that is available in the internet. But do accept the truth that "new blogs will see little to no financial return, initially". Yes, no new blogs can generate a very high revenue at once. You need to be patient about it. In my experience, I really need to wait before seeing the results. Sometimes, it really take months or even a year before earning something. Instead of loosing hope, continue your focus on creating nice content.
I put an "optional" word because not all bloggers are monetizing their blogs.
5. Continue What You Have Started
Lastly, you must continue what you have started! When you created your blog or website, I know that you have your own goals and you are doing your best to achieve all of those. It means that discontinuing your blog wont really help you but will bother you instead. As I told you lately, you really need to be patient! Think about your niche and continue writing about it. Write with passion and community will be passionate reading your articles too.
Again, to achieve your goals and aspirations, quitting is not the answer.
