I think, these two article will be the last posts for the current year about Search Engine Optimization or simply SEO. You know, I am not an SEO expert but using my experiences, I am trying to teach others about SEO.
This 2009, starting on April, I started writing some article about Search Engine Optimization and I'm happy to say that I will compile them on this special post! Yes, we will be having a review of what we discussed during those past months.
First is "promoting your blog post". We learned that with the help of social bookmarking sites, we can promote our specific blog post and gain traffic from it.
We have also discussed that "sponsoring blog contests" can raise your PageRank. If it happens that someone will ask you to be their blog contest sponsor, don't miss it! It will also add some Web exposure to your blog.
Well, I don't know what this post is doing here on the third place. "Knowing your niche" must be the first one to think in starting a blogging career. Think of a certain topic that your blog will be discussing the whole time.
I forgot about this one but "modifying your blog's page title tags" should be considered as well. With the help of title tags, Search Engine can easily determine what your blog is all about. But please avoid these "adding meta tags mistakes"!
Last June 2009, I also provided you a list of "do follow forums" websites where you can participate and add your URL as well.
