Things that Blogging Bought
Most bloggers spend their blogging earnings in purchasing different digital products. Some of them bought laptops or new desktop computers. Others spent it on digital cameras while those who have big earnings enjoyed their new DSLR camera. I even saw a car that blogging bought. How about me, where did I use the small amount that blogging gave me?
Honestly, I do have a lot of plans for that very small amount of money. But since it is just a "small amount of money", my plans will have its limit. Actually, I'm planning to buy a laptop that I can use for blogging and browsing. Aside form that, buying a Wireless Router is my dream too. With that, I can access the Web anywhere inside our house. But again, "not enough money" is still the problem. For the meantime, I need to forget all those plans.
So instead of digital products, I used that small amount on some necessities(clothes, food, travel fares etc.). No regrets! Hehehe.
Just like anyone else, I also want to have those things like iPhone, iPod, PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii, PS3, laptop, DSLR camera, powerful Desktop PC, Pocket PC, touch-screen phones, large Plasma TV, home theater system and everything you could wish for. But I'm different.
Those are not my priority in life and I have a different reason why I blog...

My Western Union Experience
Since my account is named after my father, he is the one who went to the Western Union outlet here on our place.
I told him to prepare 2 government-issued ID's. (He brought his Passport and his Driver's License.) I also printed the copy of Google’s office address, Money Transfer Control Number(MTCN) and the exact amount of money we're going to receive.
When he arrived at the Western Union outlet to get my first Google Adsense payment, he was not told to fill-up any forms. The attendant do it, checked his ID's and ask some question.
"What is your relationship with the sender?" That was the question the teller asked my father. Thinking of what to say and based on the picture above, he said "friend". LOL! Google Inc. is my father's friend! The attendant [who is not familiar with Google] doesn't doubt what my father answered and gave him the money. (My father looks like Larry Page. Hehehe. Google is his friend.)
The attendant also said that they don't have dollars. Meaning, you cannot get the payment in US Dollars, it will be automatically converted to Peso (PHP). Their exchange rate is P46.6 = $1 while the money changer outside has a rate of P47.10 = $1. Bad! The attendant also forced my father to buy cellphone load from them. Bad again!
And that was my Western Union experience. Once again, "Google is my father's friend!" How about yours?

2009 Korea Live Music Festival
I am a person who is fond of looking and learning the Korean culture, history, cuisine, technology culture, art and architecture. Sometimes, I also like their type of entertainment, the wholesome side of entertainment. Maybe because we are both living in Asia or just because I like to, whichever.

The event will be at Hangang Citizen’s Park Nanji Jigu which is near the Seoul World Cup Stadium from one o’clock in the afternoon until ten o'clock in the evening. (1:00PM-10:00PM). Nine hours of rock and alternative acts, do you like it?
As what have I told you, I like the "wholesome side" of the Korean entertainment but I don't consider "rock and alternative acts" as wholesome. I prefer classical Korean music rather. LOL but it's true!
If I were in Seoul, South Korea right now, I will surely enjoy visiting the Cheong Wa Dae or the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Hoping...

My First Google Adsense Payment
This post is actually a late post but I believe that late is better that never. Hehehe. Obviously, I will tell you something about my first Google Adsense payment.

I got my first Google Adsense payment on the first day of this month, October 1, 2009. The amount is "greater than $150 but less than $200", can you figure it out? It only took me 1 year and 3 months or simply 15 months to reach my first $100. (Based on the first ad impression my ad accumulated.)
Honestly, my father is the payee that's why he has the privilege of receiving the money. It was sent to us via Western Union Money Transfer service. When he arrived home, he gave me the money which is already converted to Philippine Peso or PHP.
Now, with my daily Google Adsense earning rate, I am capable of receiving my earning every 2 months. I am still working out and doing my best to earn at least $4 per day. With that rate, I can get my payments monthly. (Not bad for a newbie blogger...)

So using my cellphone, I contacted Smart's Customer Service and ask for some information about this service. Here are those:
Smart HelLow allows Smart and Talk 'N Text subscribers to call to 17 key destinations where the most number of Filipinos are found. Don't worry because Smart will be adding more destinations soon!

South Korea Photos | Gyeongbokgung or Gyeongbok Palace Images
Once again, I'll be posting some photos taken in Seoul, South Korea! Hehehe. That was fun! Yes, this is the continuation of my bestfriend's South Korea trip during the last week of August 2009.
For this article, I will feature the Gyeongbokgung, also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace. As what I stated on my previous post that featured "Cheong Wa Dae", all Gyeongbokgung Palace photos that will be showed below are under my copyright. OK?
Now, for those who aren't familiar with this place, Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace, is a royal palace located in northern Seoul, South Korea. First constructed in 1394 and reconstructed in 1867, it was the main and largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. The name of the palace, "Gyeongbokgung," translates in English as "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven."
Heavily destroyed by the Japanese government in the early 20th century, the palace complex is slowly being restored to its original form prior the destruction. As of 2009, only 40% of the palace has been rebuilt. Enough said, let's go with the pictures! Yey!
First of all, here is the Gangnyeongjeon, also called Gangnyeongjeon Hall, is a building used as the king's main sleeping and living quarters. This building contains the king's bed chamber and was first constructed in 1359, the fourth year of King Taejo.
It consists of fourteen rectangular chambers, each seven chambers located to the left and right side of the building in a layout out like a checkerboard, and corridors. The king used the center chamber while the court attendants occupied the other side chambers to protect, assist, and to receive orders.

Next is the Geunjeongjeon or Geunjeongjeon Hall. This is the throne hall of Gyeongbokgung where the king formally granted audiences to his officials, gave declarations of national importance, and greeted foreign envoys and ambassadors during the Joseon Dynasty. It is one of Korea's National Treasure!

This is Gyeonghoeru or Gyeonghoeru Pavilion (Royal Banquet Hall), a hall used to hold important and special state banquets during the Joseon Dynasty. The first Gyeonghoeru was constructed in 1412, the 12th year of the reign of King Taejong, but was burned down during the Japanese invasions of Korea in 1592. The present building was constructed in 1867 (the 4th year of the reign of King Gojong) on an island of an artificial, rectangular lake that is 128 m wide and 113 m across. Another Korea's National Treasure!
