Eight Best Google Adsense Alternatives

Eight Google Adsense Alternatives. If you currently have a blog or website, you are probably using Google Adsense, in hopes of picking up a little extra income. The unfortunate reality is that most people earn very little through the Google Adsense program. So do you have options? Absolutely!

We have reviewed some alternatives to the Google Adsense program, and suggest you visit their sites to determine if they are a good fit for you.

Our review does not rate or compare these sites. We have simply listed them in alphabetical order and suggest you review them for yourself. If you’ve had success with any of them, please leave a comment.

AdBrite.com
Adbrite offers several options for your blog or site. Words or phrases in your postings can become links to ads. They will even overlay ads onto the images on your pages. I haven’t found any other provider offering that option. You can set your own rates and you have the option of rejecting ads you don’t want shown on your site. Their commission split is: 75% to you, and they keep 25%.

AdToll
Ad Toll uses peel away ads. When your visitors mouse over the peel, an ad is revealed. This is a great option for the corners of your site and one that isn’t offered by Google. They pay by PayPal, check, and bank transfer on a CPC basis.

Bidvertiser
They offer “Free Design” which simply allows you to select the size and look of the text ads. They pay via check or PayPal and offer the ability to block ads you don’t want shown on your site. A possible alternative, but I’ve heard that they are very stringent on who is approved for their program.

BuySellAds.com
Buy Sell Ads is unique and allows you to not only set your own rates but you can also auction your space to advertisers. To assist you in setting competitive rates for your site, you are able to search their inventory to determine what other ads are selling for.

Clicksor.com

Chitika.com
Chitika’s approach is to show ads for products from manufacturers on your site. For example, if you feature a product on your page, Chitika will post a competitive ad alongside. They pay a commission on sales from customers who click on the ad and ultimately purchase the product.

ExitJunction.com
Exit Junction catches your visitors when they exit your page. When your visitors click their back button, they are shown an ad. If they elect to click on it, you are paid a commission. It is a novel approach and compliments other ads on your page. They pay by check or PayPal.

Infolinks
Infolinks offers in-text advertising. It searches your page for keywords and converts them to advertising links. When a visitor mouses over these links, a display ad is shown. When they click on the ad, you are paid. They pay via PayPal or check. It seems to be a simple set-up and is non commissioned.
